The printed glass screens were created with images taken from within ten square miles of the location. The concept was to use some iconic local images as well as some less well known images to create screen with both a sense of familiarity and surprise. By taking the recognisable local views and placing them out of their normal context in dreamlike landscapes the work offers comfort and assurance as well as escapism and intrigue.

The screens were created by printing and etching layers of assembled glass. The budget also covered the design, fabrication and installation of the bespoke metal work.
